Barton at Fort Riley student 21-year-old Chris Boothe grew up hearing his father’s stories about analyzing fingerprints and other evidence, so it is no surprise he has chosen to pursue a career in the same field to help law enforcement as part of a crime scene investigation team.

As of Tuesday, November 25, the drought monitor report indicates no real change from last week overall with some improvement along the Missouri border.  The recent rains leave most of the state in very good shape heading into December.

The Barton Performing Arts Department invites the community to enjoy nostalgic, holiday-themed entertainment, as well as the induction of the second class into the Fine and Performing Arts Hall of Fame, at its annual holiday concert at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 4 in the Fine Arts Auditorium.

As of Tuesday, November 18, the drought monitor report indicates no real change from last week.  The six-to ten-day outlook (November 25 to 29) indicates a 33 to 40% chance of leaning below normal for temperatures and a 33 to 40% chance of leaning above normal for precipitation. 

As of Tuesday, November 11, the drought monitor report indicates no change from last week.  The six-to ten-day outlook (November 18 to 22) indicates a 40 to 60% chance of above normal temperatures and a 60 to 60% chance of likely above normal precipitation.
