The Barton Community College Instrumental Music Department will present its fall concert “With Gratitude,” at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 17 in the Fine Arts Auditorium.
Barton Community College will host a student recital at 4 p.m. Nov. 9 and Nov. 30 in the Dorothy Moses Morrison Chapel in the Fine Arts Building. The recital is free and open to the public.

Passion, spirit and hope were frequently used words employed by numerous speakers to describe inmate learners at the 11th Annual Learning Celebration on Tuesday evening at Ellsworth Correctional Facility.
Barton Community College, Ellsworth Correctional Facility and the Kansas Department of Corrections highlighted the success of inmates who have taken the initiative to pursue their educations while incarcerated.
Barton Performing Arts faculty members and students invite the community to celebrate the creative side of the Halloween season with the “Return of Haunting on the Hill” event from 3-6 p.m. Oct. 29, in the Fine Arts Building.
