Nancy Wiebe resigned from the position of Executive Director of Institutional Advancement on Wednesday. The resignation is effective June 30, though cessation of duties is immediate.
Barton Community College’s Center for Adult Education is holding orientation days March 2-5 with multiple times available in preparation for its next nine-week session of high school diploma classes, which will start March 9 or 10, depending on which class sessions are signed up for.
Barton Theatre will bring Bikini Bottom to the stage with the spring musical “The SpongeBob Musical,” March 5-8 in the Fine Arts Auditorium.
Barton Community College is one of six community colleges statewide selected to participate in a new initiative preparing Kansans for high-demand careers in cybersecurity through a partnership between Kansas community colleges and the Kansas National Guard, announced by U.S. Sen. Roger Marshall.
Barton Community College invites the public to a free weather awareness event, "Why is Kansas Weather So Different?" on Feb. 28 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Science & Math Building, Room S-118.
