Monday, April 4 – Cavanaugh Room in the Learning Resource Center (LRC), 5-6 p.m. Open Support Group: Support Groups offer the opportunity for friends and acquaintances of Kai to gather in a therapeutic group format to discuss and support one another in their shared loss.
The Barton Music Department will present a choral concert titled “A Reason to Sing,” at 7:30 p.m. April 12 in the Fine Arts Auditorium.

Lizard & art enthusiasts alike can carve their very own ceramic chameleon as The Shafer Gallery and the Barton Art Department sponsor a ceramics workshop titled “Lovin’ Lizards: A Workshop with Kathy Robb,” as part of the “Human Nature” exhibit from 12 to 4 p.m. April 1 in the Shafer Gallery.
Potential students will have an opportunity to gear up for the fall semester during Barton’s popular “Enrollment Day” sessions, which start on April 12 and will continue throughout the summer.
Barton Community College is hosting auditions for its dance company, Barton Dance Theatre, and dance scholarship awards from 10 a.m.- noon March 26 in Studio 34, which is located in the Sunflower housing units on Barton’s campus

Barton Community College will present a Vocal Masterclass featuring Wichita State University Voice Professor Abigail Deiter at 4 p.m. March 30 in the Dorothy Moses Morrison Chapel in room F-157.
The Barton Foundation aims to enhance the Barton student experience with its 12th Annual Sporting Clay Shoot fundraiser from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. Sunday, April 24 at Camp Aldrich, 884 NE 110 Ave. in Claflin. The money raised is used for Faculty Mini-Grants, which Barton faculty members can use to purchase items for their classrooms to enhance student learning experiences. The Foundation has awarded $119,644 in mini-grants to date.
